Project & Network Coordinator
Supported and coordinated the CITES CoP18 project
- Conducted all logistical processes for the team and youth delegation in the months leading up to the CoP Planned, organised and supported the creation of the first youth delegation and forum at CITES CoP18 in Sri Lanka for May 19’ and rescheduled said event for Geneva in August 19’
- Executed all policy tracking procedures throughout the conference during SC71 and Committees 1 & 2 and
attended a number of side-events with the aim of generating organisational support and increased learning
- Facilitated extensive organisational networking opportunities with the aim to increase youth participation
within CITES, parties and observers
- As part of the team and with close support from governments, NGOs and the CITES Secretariat, managed
the delivery of a side-event showcasing the next generation of conservation leaders during the CoP
- Throughout the conference, coordinated and led the international youth delegation of ten
Supported and coordinated the IWT Conference 2018 project and youth delegation
Supported and led on fundraising applications and supported grant writing and reporting
Led on, managed and developed the organisations sustainable forms of income strategy
Led on and supported general NGO administrative duties
Supported the development of the organisations new website and created and executed the monthly newsletter to 6000 members
Managed the ‘Engaged Generation’ initiative aiming to showcase members of the network and became the initial point of contact for organisational queries and communications
Supported the organisation and facilitation of team members attending ICCB2019 and World Wildlife Day
