Glencore (London Branch), Facilities Assistant: August 2018 – March 2019 (Initial 3-month contract was extended for another 4 months after impressing organization) • Submitting invoices from external companies that Glencore use (Catering/Cleaning/Vending Companies) into Excel • Project manage, supervise and co-ordinate the work of external contractors • Preparing access and booking meetings for Executives, Directors and senior members of the company • Ensuring building meets health and safety regulations, so that fellow colleagues are kept safe Glencore (London Branch), Junior Accounts Assistant: March 2019 (2 weeks work experience) • Working with Trade accounting team, and being exposed to software such as SAP, Treasury, Tempest and Excel. • Working with Bank Reconciliations (From Credit Suisse) from oil trades to ensure that money has been paid correctly to the company. • Double entry bookkeeping to ensure debits and credits are correct. • Working with Trade Analytics team to see trends in accounts every quarter, which is later published for public domain. • Shadowing senior Accountants on day to day tasks. Glencore (London Branch), IT Helpdesk Analyst: March 2019 (1 week work experience) • Installing and changing software (Such as Microsoft Office and Windows 10) to fix internal computer issues. • Building and Installing computer desktops for colleagues in the company • Shadowing other IT Analysts who deal with queries (such as troubleshooting and software problems) via phone and email
