Zebra X Café: Co-Owner & Manager July 2015 – Present Initially joining as a part-time General Assistant, I was quickly promoted to a full-time Assistant Manager. Reporting directly into the Owner, I managed up to 10 employees and was responsible for controlling and reconciling all cash takings. My responsibilities also included accurately controlling all the bookkeeping and invoicing, including fulfilling payments to suppliers. I am now co-owner of Zebra X Ltd, allowing me to take a step back from the day-to-day and fully focus my efforts on managing finances. Key Achievements: • Successfully overseeing the efficient running of all the key revenue earning areas including merchandise sales and F&B. • Managing an operations team of 10 employees, ensuring staff consistently performed at the highest level whilst also encouraging up-selling to ensure targets were always met. • Successfully introducing a HR report at site to analyse absence trends and disciplinaries, which resulted in a reduction in absence figures and sickness. • Identifying new contracts which led to sales leads • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients • Consistently exceeding all business targets and KPIs • Helping with the analysis and discussion of company profitability
