September 2015 - St. Giles Hospice, Whittington present Ward Helper • I volunteer at a local hospice near Birmingham where I help to serve meals and tidy up. • When meals have been served, I spend time talking to the patients, and run errands for them if they are in need of anything ************************************************************************************** June – July Sainsbury’s, Mere Green 2013 Produce assistant • I quickly learned how to use the equipment that reduces stock if necessary, and I was in charge of reductions on my shifts for the whole produce section. • I continually monitored shelves and ensured the necessary stock was out. • I helped customers with their questions or problems. ************************************************************************************** 2012 Love Me Green, Bordeaux, France Assistant in children’s clothes shop • I advised customers on products and rearranged displays in the shop. • Over the week, I greatly improved my ability to speak French.
